Welcome to the List Edition of The Weekly Reset
Sorry No. 9 is a little late to the party, between technology issues and prepping for my workshop event last week it’s a wee bit tardy 😉
Since we have had so many requests for “back issues” of the WeeklyReset, we will now be posting the back issues on our blog as well. If you want to go back and read any you missed, you can check them out here. I will still continue to send them out to you each Sunday as well.
LET’S JUMP IN!
Writing last week’s newsletter really got me thinking more about the subject of routines, habits and jumping into projects. I have really enjoyed this past month of #slowplanning and savoring the start of a new path I find myself on. The idea of sloooow has now become a bigger part of my life and I am fully embracing it. I am not overscheduling things for myself, I am taking the time to enjoy fellowship during the week, I am not beating myself up over all the things I am not able to focus on, complete or do anymore. I haven’t made my Undo list officially, but I sort of feel I am living it. Although slow is the name of my new game, I also want to remember that slow doesn’t mean paralyzed. Getting started is a hard thing for me, mostly because I want to get things right the first time. The truth is no matter how much I have always loved a planner and have used one all my life, I am just not a consistent planner girl. I like to switch things up, try new ideas, experiment and even…ditch a planner altogether for a time. Sometimes I’m just a notebook girl, making my task lists and nothing else. I am making peace with this, no matter how many planner spreads I see or envy. I gotta be me, just like you gotta be you.
I have been thoroughly enjoying my research of building a better day and the habits that go along with that. In terms of goals, at the top of my list is how I start my day. This has been ignored too long. I want the beginning of my day to be the best part, the part that sets me up for success, the part I savor the most. In addition, I am enjoying plotting out my blueprint for creating routines and more. The more I dig, the more inspired I am. I guess this slow approach was really my jam after all, and I sure wish I had done it sooner. In the big scheme of things, I just want to be happier and make better use of my day. If you feel that way too, then I found some great resources to share with you this week that continues our #slowplanning journey…all presented in a list format 🙂

CURRENTLY: ORGANIZING
Spring is still a couple months away but I am starting to dig through Pinterest for ideas and inspiration. I can’t wait to ditch more things from the RV and create better organization in our living spaces. Just looking through beautiful photos of organized spaces makes my heart sing and gets me mentally ready for what I want to do when we get back to Washington. If you love organized eye candy too, here are some yummies I found:
- Organizing Everything Your House
- Organize Your Car
- Dollar Store Organization Hacks
- Pantry Organization
- Kitchen Countertop Organization
- Craft Room Organization
- Small Craft Room Organization
- Office Supplies Organization
- Winter Organization Tips
- Desk Organization
CURRENTLY: PREPPING HEALTHY FOOD
Healthy living is the goal, and I am so proud that I am getting closer and closer to better eating with each month. Seven months after I first started, I am still hanging in there. There has been a few backslidden moments (McDonald’s french fries are a weakness) but for the most part I have never strayed too far. I decided that when it comes to eating, focusing on heart health is the number one key since the biggest killer in America is heart disease. In addition to my new gut health habits, I am hoping to turn around some of the damage I’m sure I have already done. This is the guideline I am inspired to try:
- Eat to Live Books by Joel Fuhrman
- Eat to Live Food Prep
- Eat to Live Fridge

CURRENT BLENDING: THE SMOOTHIE LIFE
Last week I shared that I was starting on a smoothie kick, and now it’s in full force. We took the plunge and invested in a Vitamix Blender, because we want this to be daily habit. I have been enjoying a protein packed smoothie every morning while I read my Bible and it’s been a slice of heaven. Here are all the other things we are using for our new #SmoothieLife:
Sounds delicious right? One lovely subscriber summed up this habit as #TeamJesusandSmoothies
Ok, friend, I hope this inspires your week and gives you some encouragement to start a morning routine (or tweak your exisiting one), start nourishing your body on the inside and consider the art of time blocking as a way to plan for success!
Love your face,
Cori
